About the 2017 Bobby Labonte Foundation Charity Ride
40km, 60km, and 100km Options Available
Utilizing the same start-finish line as the afternoon and evening criterium races, the Bobby Labonte Charity Bike Ride will roll out at 7:30am from the Mendenhall Transportation Center bus terminal and head west through either 40k (25 mi), 60k (37 mi) or 100k (62 mi) of some of North Carolina’s finest rolling hills and most scenic rural terrain! This year’s theme of “it’s not a race” will prove to turn this cycling ride into a fun and friendly morning filled with its share of challenges and plenty of camaraderie! Fully supported rest stops, staffed with smiling faces and great ride food, will only be topped by the finish line festivities, post ride meal and beverages, music and celebration! As always, proceeds from your entry fees, sponsorships and donations go right back to local children and their families!
